14 February. Valentine's Day.

All behold, the day when boyfriends despratly try to get reservations in posh restaurants, pathetic plastic roses and maybe even fake diamonds, all for the sake of one day to show your love for someone.

I feel this day, today, is overrated. Why set aside a day to show your love when you should already be doing that everyday? Sure, people profit from all those chocolates and flowers and cute little teddy bears that come with school uniforms for 30 bucks... and now I find myself stuck listening to this very addicting song while trying to finish my maths homework.

I don't think my friend is actually home yet. he told me he would be out until 9pm, and if he returned anytime before that, his parents would deem him... incompetent.

Today is also Friendship Day, and right now going out with anyone at all to Pizza Hut for the Sweetheart Set for $25.95 doesn't seem too bad, considering that neither person can either afford a high class restaurants or even have a reservation in one, even though there are those very unlucky guys who cancel at the last moment, because their date was "going out with her cousins to watch Constantine".

Infront of me right now is my classical guitar, and thats about the only thing I can settle down to do, play some chords. I know I have no reason to rant about anything, I didn't have any plans for today anyway, and it isn't so hyped up in a boy's school either. Though I could see girls with little heart-shaped ballons and flowers while on the bus home... honestly...

I just finished all of Dan Brown's books, bar Deception Point, in the CNY (Chinese New Year you dumbass) week, and I can't wait for more books by him, although I have to admit, I should have read his books alot earlier. I found myself wasting time reading when I could be doing other stuff, like actually doing my homework =)

I should probably get some sleep soon, considering how many minutes I slept last night. Bored, lazy to blog about anything else.
